Booths

Each community is invited to host a booth showcasing the jewels of their neighborhoods. For some communities, it might be a little-known treasure like San Ysidros’ charming public library. For others it may be a long-celebrated landmark like Chicano Park. Prizes will be awarded for most creative community booth display.

If you are interested in hosting a booth on behalf of your community, please contact Zack Warmaredarrow

Idea Tournament

Community groups are also encouraged to compete in this year’s Idea Tournament where an American Idol-style panel of judges will award $5,000 to the most compelling neighborhood project. Does your community need help funding a community garden, playground or parklet? See if your proposal appeals to the public by submitting it for an online vote.

The top five community group plans will be invited to present their proposals at Politifest. Click here to find out more detailsredarrow
